We can all design a smart form that asks participants whether they have gained educationally from our sessions and this information is valuable in informing the quality of what we do.

What it tells us, however, is very limited beyond the immediate event.

What we should really be striving for is the gold standard – evaluation of knowledge into demonstrable skills and behaviours in clinical practise.

How do we move towards this? and is it ever achievable?
