About
The National Association of Palliative Care Educators (NAPCE) serves to provide a forum in which palliative care educators from across the UK can share and disseminate ideas and research, debate topical issues, support and network with each other and to provide a collective voice at national level.
The association will act as a coordinating forum for the growing number of regional groups. Membership is open to individuals wth a strong interest in palliative care or whose job substantially involves palliative care education across multi-professional fields.
NAPCE is a registered charity and is affiliated to the Network of Professional Associations:

under the auspices of Help the Hospices.
Administration
Help the Hospices (HtH) Provide our membership administration service as part of our membership of their Network of Professional Associations (NPA). The new membership year will start on 1st March. New members who join on or after the 1st December will not be expected to renew in the following February but will receive a renewal notice in the next January (therefore getting up to 3 months free).
All membership cheques should be made payable to NAPCE and all membership forms should be sent to Anne Garley, NPA Manager at Help the Hospices Hospice House, 34-44 Britannia Street, London, WC1X 9JG.
Terms of Reference:
- To provide a national forum for the dissemination of ideas, information, research and debate in palliative care education.
- To provide members with the opportunity for professional support and development.
- To inform and support the development of educational strategies and initiatives that influence palliative care provision
- To raise the profile of palliative care education as an integral part of service provision within both statutory, and voluntary care providers
- To promote and encourage educational research and audit which inform the quality of palliative care education
