This association has come about as a response to the growing need for palliative care educators of all professions across the UK to have a forum for debate, support and the sharing of good practice.

The association is a registered charity and is organised 
and run by experienced palliative care educators.
It aims to be a dynamic and progressive organisation that promotes the furtherance of palliative care education across all relevant health care sectors.
